A baguette pan is a lightweight, perforated pan that looks more like something Lady Gaga would wear to a parent/teacher conference than an instrument of deliciousness. They’re not that expensive, until you realize they only serve one purpose… but then when you remember the purpose they serve, you realize they’re not that expensive.
